What real ANZ messages look like

  • Login only at anz.co.nz/inet or via the goMoney NZ app
  • ANZ never sends SMS with clickable links to log in or verify accounts
  • Real fraud alerts phone you from a number on your card — and you can hang up and call back on the number on the card to verify
  • ANZ never asks for your PIN, password, or full card number by email/SMS

Common spoof patterns

  • "Suspicious transaction — verify at anz-secure.co / anz-nz.info" SMS
  • "Your account is locked" emails to lookalike login pages
  • "You have an unread secure message" phishing from a spoofed sender
