What real NZTA messages look like

Genuine emails come from nzta.govt.nz, enews.nzta.govt.nz, or reply.nzta.govt.nz
Genuine registration emails will always include your vehicle-specific expiry date
NZTA toll notices do not include attachments
They will never ask for your credit card details via a text message link
