Netflix billing bait in your inbox
A phishing email from meowwiki.com is posing as Netflix and pushing you to update payment details through an unverified message with no trustworthy sender checks behind it.
You could receive an email with the subject line "important notice" that looks like a plain Netflix billing message. It presents itself as a payment problem and urges you to update your account now, using a simple text-heavy layout designed to look routine and believable.
What gives it away is that the email could not prove it was really sent by who it claimed to be. Your mail system had no reliable way to verify the sender, and the domain behind it, meowwiki.com, is not one you would expect Netflix to use for account or billing contact. Even though the domain itself is not brand new, it has no legitimate connection to Netflix, which is a strong sign the branding is being misused to pressure you into acting.
The attacker is after your login details and potentially your payment information.
